DARwin is a software package developed for diversity and phylogenetic analysis on the basis of evolutionary dissimilarities.

Several functions are available to infer and to transform dissimilarity matrices from nucleic sequences, molecular markers, qualitative or quantitative characters.
Different algorithms are implemented to perform factorial analyses and to construct trees, to assess their reliability or to compare several trees on the same data set. Many tools produce graphics easy to read and to include in publications.
